Who wanno is for
wanno works for developers, freelancers and agencies, and also for the hair salon that wants online bookings, the teacher selling a course or the shop taking orders on WhatsApp. You do not need to know what a backend or an API key is: you say what you need and wanno takes care of the rest. If you can code, you can go deeper; if you cannot, you do not have to.
Latin America has about 27 million small businesses, and more than 7 out of 10 still have no presence online (according to ECLAC), even though many already sell on WhatsApp and Instagram. Those businesses do not need a complicated system. They need a page they can build in an afternoon, from the phone, at a price a small business can pay.
What wanno is
You open the app, type what you want to build (a landing page for your business, a menu with orders, an app to keep track of appointments) and wanno builds it in front of you. You ask for changes by chatting, publish with one tap and share the link. If you want, you connect your own domain.
When you want to change a color, a text or a photo, there is no need to write another request: in the app you tap it and change it, and that does not use credits.
When you publish, everything a site needs to work is included: hosting, the security certificate (the https padlock), the database and the notifications for every form, which reach your phone. If your app needs AI (an assistant, a chat that answers your customers' questions), it uses wanno AI, which runs on Grok, xAI's model, with nothing to configure; or you connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic or Google account.
And your site is yours: you connect your own domain and, on Plus and Max, you take the code as a .zip whenever you want.
Every change you ask for is paid with credits. A credit is worth the same on every plan, and the app always shows how many you have left.
During the beta, with no advertising, more than 1,100 people have already published about 1,600 sites with wanno.

Until now, the free plan gave you a few credits when you signed up and nothing more. That changed.

- AI for your visitors: if your app has an assistant, a chat or any AI feature, what your visitors use comes out of this pocket, not out of your building credits.
- Your domain: you connect

- AI images and videos: you ask for a cover photo or a background video and wanno generates it for your site.

Why it costs what it costs
The best-known tools for building apps with AI (Lovable, Bolt, Replit) charge US$ 20 to US$ 25 a month for a plan with your own domain, in dollars, and they are made to be used on a computer; on a phone, at most, you type a request. On wanno a site with your domain starts at US$ 4.99 a month and everything happens on the phone: creating, editing by tapping, reviewing and publishing.
We can charge that because we run our own infrastructure. Each site lives in its own virtual machine; when nobody visits it, it sleeps, and it wakes up as soon as the first visitor arrives. We do not pay for idle sites, and that saving is what makes a US$ 4.99 plan possible.
